Madam Clara's -A Fragment-In one room was a girl with pebbles for eyes, she crouched on a thread bare rug and hissed threw missing front teeth. Out a window there was a lush garden and just past that a sparkling river. What an odd sort of torture, to let this creatures eyes rest daily on the place they came from.
